we were able to raise funds for school supplies
and general project maintenance.

support of these individuals we will be able to provide our centers with: fresh
paint, inspirational classroom murals, board games and brainteasers, books, posters,
soccer and four square balls, and basic school supplies. This support has also
provided eye exams and glasses for one of our students with a severe eye condition.
Additionally, these generous individuals have sponsored educational fieldtrips
that will inspire our students to learn and instill them with pride in their heritage
and surroundings. We would also like extend a warm
thank you to the local businesses and bands that have helped us in our fundraising
quests: Nick, Vic and the team at Mexicali; Sean and
John at Bungalow 6; Vic and friends at the Reina Victoria Pub; Max of Esto es
Eso; Los Nietos; Ivan at the Hotel Savoy Inn; El Arabe; Raj Tandoori; and Café
Hood. We would also like extend our sincerest thank
you to both past and present volunteers, passers-through and permanent residents
that have lent an invaluable hand in our program: Kyle
Edgerton, Crystal, Diane, Michelle Butte, Sarah, Elana Mainer, Alastair Ripley,
